A unique and fun activity in a stunning sand dune landscape. Suitable for all ages and abilities. A small family business that takes pride in being the only sand dune business in Port Stephens that provides both sit-down and stand-up options with strapped boards for standing. Instruction, Supervision, Shade, tables and chairs are provided at the Sandboarding location to provide a premium experience for our customers. You can stay and play as long as you like; most people spend 1-2 hours.
This is an epic adventure on the largest moving sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere! This Sandboarding Safari will take you across the magnificent sand dunes in an awesome 4WD vehicle to the Sandboarding area right in the heart of the dunes. The 4WD will drop you off here for your Sandboarding adventure.
One of the friendly instructors will teach you the safe method of Sandboarding for both sit-down and stand-up. You can try one or both; it’s entirely up to you. The bowl-shaped dune features both smaller slopes and a monster hill. You choose the size of the hill based on your confidence level. Sandboarding is suitable for all ages and abilities!
