Overview
Enjoy a relaxing yet activity-filled half-day on Magnetic Island. On board the cruise, you’ll learn about the unique biodiversity of this island from your local guides. Snorkelling equipment and stand-up paddle boards are provided to fully explore the underwater environment of Magnetic Island’s fringing reef. This is a fun trip for the whole family. Snacks and refreshments are provided. An easy day trip from Townsville. All equipment for activities included in the itinerary is provided. Nature lovers will especially enjoy this tour.
The 5-hour Discovery Tour combines snorkelling, fringing reefs, exploring secluded bays, and learning about beautiful Magnetic Island—benefit from having Master Reef Guides on tour sharing the stories of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkelling beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish “friends”, and marine life – whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand-up paddleboards and floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the unique places we explore on Magnetic Island’s iconic and stunning coastline. Morning tea and all equipment for activities are provided for you. Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.
