Things to do
- Discover the local Produce.
- One of my favourite things to do in Mudgee is find delicious Produce to bring back home with me. My weakness is olive oil! Head to Olliedean, where extra virgin organic olive oil is produced. You can have a pick-your-own experience at the 10’S Estate Orchard. You can pick cherries, citrus fruit, or figs, depending on the season. For those of us with a sweet tooth, Pebbly Path is a must-visit. They make the best rocky road you have ever tasted.
- Explore More of the Mudgee Region
- Gulgong is a charming town with history and culture, perfect for weekend explorers. Start your visit with the Gulgong Gold Experience, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history of the gold rush era that shaped the region. After soaking in the town’s heritage, explore Stacks Downunder, a delightful homewares variety store bursting with unique finds and local treasures. Rylstone is a hidden gem that enchants visitors with its unique blend of culinary excellence and historical charm. This quaint town offers a delightful array of local produce, including international prize-winning olives, exquisite hand-made dumplings, and quality coffee that rivals any urban establishment.

At Blue Wren, you can truly unwind and disconnect from the stresses of daily life while still enjoying all the modern conveniences.
